欧文·M·柯匹（Irving M. Copi，1917—2002）， 美国著名逻辑教育家，曾先后执教于美国伊利诺伊大学、密歇根大学、普林斯顿大学和夏威夷大学。主要著作有：《符号逻辑》（Symbolic Logic，1954） 《逻辑类型论》（The Theory of Logical Types，1971) 《当代哲学逻辑》（Contemporary Philosophical Logic， 1978）《非形式逻辑》（Informal Logic，1992）等。

卡尔·科恩（Carl Cohen，1931— ），美国密歇根大学逻辑与哲学教授。科恩教授的著作被翻译成多种语言，其中，政治哲学著作《论民主》中译本于1988 年出版。

丹尼尔·E·弗莱格（Daniel E. Flage），詹姆斯·麦迪逊大学哲学教授，主攻现代哲学史、逻辑和批判性思维。
